Professor Alan Fenwick
Emeritus Professor, Imperial College London
Professor Fenwick is a world authority in Tropical Diseases Medicine. He founded the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative at Imperial College which has delivered over 100 million treatments to under privileged populations. He lectures across the world and has published over 200 scientific papers. Professor Fenwick has been awarded the Donald MacKay Medal, the Sir Rickard Christophers Medal and The Kyelem Prize as well as National honours from several countries.

Dr. Iqbal has served on medical school admissions panels. He graduated from Imperial College London winning the Rector’s Outstanding Achievement Gold Medal as well as multiple academic prizes for the highest performance in undergraduate medical exams, a first-class honours degree from the National Heart and Lung Institute in Cardiovascular Sciences and the Patrick Trevor-Roper Scholarship from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He has been awarded the Lord Eric Avebury Prize for public speaking and teaching.
